Caryn
Merkel is from a musical
family; her father could play several instruments and
was a great singer and dancer. Her first stage experience
was when she was only 5 years old and her dad pulled
her up on stage to sing a song with the band at a wedding
reception. Caryn remembers being paralyzed with fear
and attributes that experience to her many years of
stage fright. She studied classical & jazz piano
for 7 years, When Karaoke became popular, she was encouraged
to singt and the response was so overwhelming that from
that moment on she was hooked. One day she ran into
a high school friend who was looking for a singer for
his band. Caryn volunteered and that was her first real
live band experience. In 2019 she tried out for "Canton
Idol" and won the competition. Caryn calls herself
a late bloomer and feels very fortunate
to be able to do what she loves with this wonderful
group of talented musicians. When not performing, she
teaches life skills in high school.

Kerry
Bush can
wear many hats, as she has performed as a singer, actress,
and occasional saxophonist. As a singer she has performed

the Lions Lincoln Theater Annual Show for 17 years as
a featured soloist, and with Mark & The Dreams (MCM

building a strong presence in the local music scene.
Her acting chops comes through in each performance,
pulling from her work in Community Theater. Kerry loves
classic movies, fashion, hat design, being a fun Aunt
to her niece & nephew, her little doggie (Mr. Sammy
Davis Jr), and just good old fashioned nerdy stuff.
